We are an accounting and tax firm based in the United Kingdom with a Liaison Office in Istanbul/Turkey. We provide Accounting, Bookkeeping, Payroll and Tax Advisory services to our clients in the UK. 

Job Overview

We are seeking an Accountant & Bookkeeping Specialist to work in our Liaison Office in Turkey. This is a full-time job offering hybrid or remote working. New joining members will be trained for UK accounting rules, principals and the XERO accounting software. 

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities
• Prepare the management accounts such as; Balance Sheet, P&L and Ledgers
• Maintain accurate and up-date records using XERO accounting software
• Working on year-end accounts
• Prepare and submit VAT returns, payrolls and annual Corporation Tax returns
• Manage client communication and provide information 

Requirements

• University degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Proven experience of minimum 5 years in accounting and bookkeeping roles.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in MS Office application (especially Excel)
  
• Good command of written and spoken English
